| Since we have the winter jackets thread, only seems right to also discuss whats going to be the choice footwear over the winter months, with a large amount of people from the different forums choosing shoes over trainers over the last year or two be interesting to see what people are going to be wearing. Your choices? | |

| For me it will be still be my usual hammering of dark brown mephisto rainbows and adidas trainers, had about 30 odd pair of trainers at one point but have sold the majority on and just kept a couple of pairs of the rarer ones so only got about 5 pair left!
I also bought some chestnut coloured mephisto rainbows but still unsure on them and not worn them! Will be looking to buy a pair or 2 of kickers to match with in with certain jackets and also more than likely splash out on a pair of others but unsure on what as yet but they need to be low cut instead of the hightop type that are doing the rounds a fair bit atm, certainly keeping my beady eye out!

| I'm always sporting trainers, will be this Winter as well but only my not so good trainers: Adidas spezial, argie, blue and white colourways. Adidas Dublins, OG Gazelles Black/white and blue/white colourway. Probably just those set this winter. | |

| Last shoes I got where the Deakins Cord Shoe, which considering they where covered in black marks after a summers evening out last week are totally unsuitable for winter. I wear mephisto rainbow mainly for work, for play numerous and always looking but won't be buying into leather brogues, for work no problem, but i like comfort and casualness on my feet, nothing raised my pulse since finn badens appeared really. Still love trainers but think cashing in on ebay neds might be prudent | |

| Picked up a pair of New Yorks from the Consortium range of adidas, and did not regret it. Winter around here is harsh, but they kept me dry and warm throughout. Was also seriously looking at the adidas X Ransom hiking boots, but could not justify that hefty price. Will keep my eyes open for something similar this year, though. | |

Looked at those today as well. Stunning footwear but way overpriced IMO. Quite like the Heritage Research monkey boots on there as well.
