can't help but feel that all the labels are blurring into one I partially agree mate, I think a lot of labels in that area are all heading in one direction, it's not a bad thing but as you say when you look on all the collections as a whole they can be very similar, but each label will always have a few stand alone pieces that are worth picking up, some more than others and I think if you always keep that in mind you will always stand out rather than blending in, or if you don't want to stand out you can at least be different

| I'd quite happily have all of that bar the top jacket and the shirts with elbow patches. | |

| I work on the same street as a Folk shop and often pop in, usually after seeing pics on the net, and thats just it, the pics are always very promising but close up I think the gear feels cheap, pop over to Oliver Spencer and the stuff feels like high quality stuff, shame really as a few of the designs themselves are tidy. | |

I'm going to sniff about that top jacket

I'm going to sniff about that top jacket I have the top jacket in tan from a couple of years ago, the first version with no leather tag, that one puts me off a touch to be honest as it reminds me of an old saxon jacket and feels a bit gimmicky

| I've got to admit, i've found Folk to be pretty uninspiring of late - espcially with the A/W collection. Some of the summer Tee's were class but as for knit wear, shirting and outwear I find Folk to be quite boring at the moment. The sizing gets on my cock as well to be honest - its either skin tight or too loose... There doesn't seem to be happy medium.
I agree with Transplant, when i'm down Holborn its Oliver Spencer every time for me - I dont think i'd even bother nipping into Folk now.
